Final hours!

Hello, dear followers of Chaos, Law and Balance.
Whatever your obedience is, almost all of you are fans of Michael Moorcock's great work ! And that's probably what brought you here. Others are just here with us because they enjoy the gameplay we designed for Elric: Rise of the Young Kingdoms.
To all of you, we thank you for the crazy adventure you've been taking us on for the past month. An adventure that is about to come to an end.
Indeed, we are now less than 36 hours away from the end of this double-campaign. Thanks to you, no less than ten levels have been unlocked and an eleventh one is about to give way, under your assaults. And may be with the blessing of our Lord Arioch may be the last goal could be reached ?
This news will probably be the last one, before saying goodbye ! Of course, there will be others afterwards, to keep you informed of the evolution of the project. We don't have much more to say to you than "thank you", once again : the game is going to look exactly how we imagined it ! and that's wonderful !
Few reminders :
- The Game will be a reality, that's for sure. So you can pledge without any more fear, if you haven't already done so.
- If you've just been taking an access to the Pledge Manager access, we invite you to give it a try and choose one of the two main counterparties. This way, you will be sure to benefit from the prices posted by this campaign. (The cost of some things may change after a while on the Pledge Manager).
Other forms of support are possible:
- Share the link of the campaign on the networks (ideally with a small comment of your own explaining why you like the game) and, in general, tell your friends about it.

We have been working on the Elric license for over ten years. And the funding of a boardgame in the world of the Young Kingdoms is truly a consecration for our small company of enthusiasts.
Michael Moorcock's work is one of the pillars of Fantasy. Very successful games have been inspired by the concepts of Law and Chaos that run through Elric's saga, and no Elric fan will have failed to notice that many great Fantasy authors have paid homage to him through their works (George R.R. Martin, R.A. Salvatore, Joe Dever for instance).
After a journey through the Millions of Spheres our prototype has finally reached the home of Linda and Michael Moorcock and we are very proud to say that they were very happy with the work we did. And what could be more awesome for us to get this glowing comment from Michael Moorcock himself.
We would like to thank Linda and Michael Moorcock for their support.

It's time for us to unveil the final stages of our campaign!
In Le Départment, we don't multiply the Stretch Goals. We had a very clear idea of the game we wanted to present to you, and fortunately you have unlocked most of the options that enrich the game play ! These last levels that we are now presenting to you will bring aesthetic and comfort improvements.
There are still four things we would like to introduce to you.
You will receive the rules in Pdf version and we will take the opportunity to add translations in several languages.
You will receive a large copy of map of the Young Kingdoms. You will be able to deploy it while you play your games of Elric.
Some of you have discovered Michael Moorcock's universe through... music! It is quite natural that we propose you a soundtrack to animate your games of Elric Rise of the Young Kingdoms. We asked MBO to create an epic music that will accompany you in your looting
We have a boundless admiration for the immense talent of Gerald Brom. And in our wildest dreams, if we manage to unlock this tier (which is quite high) you'll be able to play with an alternative Elric figure inspired by Brom's work.
Come on the last steps to the ruby throne are the highest!
Spotlight on Morano's illustrations

Hello everyone... and thank you - again - for your support! We have just reached the level where we can get the metal Stormbringer token. And at the same time, we've just revealed the nature of the next level... which should be of particular interest to Spanish, German and Italian speaking players!
We'll let you go and see what it's all about and, in the meantime, we've got a new spotlight, this time dedicated to Elric: Rise of the Young Kingdoms main illustrator!
We love working with Tomasz Jedruszek ! He is an extremely talented and committed artist who has the humility of the greatest. Tomasz, aka Morano, has done some of the most beautiful illustrations for board games and role-playing (Game of Thrones, Magic, FFG). For us, he has done some real works of art for Hawkmoon in particular! So we decided to introduce him to you.
- You have worked on many fantasy worlds, how did you approach the work on a monument like Elric?
Obviously, it is not easy - especially when the world is well known form existing books or movies (like Lord of The Rings) - you must use some recognizable elements - so the fans can feel they are back in familiar place. And yet you are trying to offer them something fresh and surprising so they can see their favorite story from a different angle.
So, at first, we start slowly, doing some sketches under supervision of an art director. We follow the directions, and we don’t go too far with our own "craziness"! It's a teamwork, and it is all about good balance, trusting each other’s professionalism. But once you have everything in place: the style, the atmosphere, and the aesthetics; it's all about fun, and unfolding your art on the rest of the illustration with pleasure.
- Could you detail an art you made for Elric?
When I work on a character the most important thing for me is its personality - so I spend a lot of time just trying to pose him to make a singular and realistic face expression. This process is about using erasers a lot or starting it from the scratch over and over again… but then - you see the face you wanted to see - he is staring at you from the screen!
In parallel, you play with character’s iconic objects, like a sword or a magic spell - those can really determine the position. This also tells you a lot about the character‘s background, his goals. So, you never know, maybe you start sketching from the sword position and that will result in body language and face expression, but it could also be the other way round : the face and then the body, and eventually the sword -which completes the full posture...
- Do you have any other projects going on right now that you can tell us about?
I might be doing some other games now or sometime soon, (October?) but those are under very strict Non-Disclosure Agreements yet -and I can’t say much about it. But I do also work on my regular freelance projects like Magic The Gathering, FAB and others and I’m updating my Art Station profile about it as soon as new cards or boxes are released. Freelancer has always something to do. 😊

Now that we are not far from the last days of our campaign, we can talk about the last secrets hidden in the Melniboné Palace. This Palace of the Emperors of Melniboné contains unimaginable treasures Runic weapons, demon armours, unspeakable spells locked away for millennia, runes of power never revealed and perhaps the Seal of the Emperor himself.
It is undoubtedly for these extraordinary weapons and objects of power that the Lords of the Young Kingdoms have launched their assault.
By unlocking this stretch goal, you add ten legendary treasures to Elric: Rise of The Young Kingdoms.
And since The Balance is a jealous power and we haven't talked about it much, we're paying tribute to it by improving its Board. By Tanelorn, I hope she can forgive us for thinking of her only at the end!
